Hi Spruce! Wow, how cool to have a response so quick! I'm feeling a little better. I am medicated though  ... I'm thinking about looking for a new dr. I really like him, but it seems that he's getting upset that I still have pain. I am on cymbalta and I have muscle relaxers too. But through trial and error (painful error) I know that the soma and vicodin combo work well enough for me to keep going. An he keeps wanting to reduce the pain meds?? I am frustrated. I really don't have anyone to talk to that really understands. My children and my mom are supportive, as much as they can be. My best friend of 37 years passed away a few months ago from illness. Although we didn't have the same thing we understood each other's pain. I miss her so much. Well, I'm going to get myself more familiar with this site and become part of the community. I've read so many posts that say the exact same things I have said. The one the stuck out the most was from someone who I don't remember their name, but she said "I'm 39 and I can't believe I have to go through this for the rest of my life." I have said that to myself so many times! Except with a 52 Oh, I am in the San Diego area.. I hope everyone sleeps well tonight. |
