Ok so i just went to the supermarket and picked up a bunch of supplements i've heard people take to help them function better. I got some probiotics, a magnesium supplement with calcium and vitamin d, some b-12, acidophillus, and some fish oil. I had to be careful with choosing a fish oil b/c im allergic to some fish (herring was the problem and its in most fish oils) i started taking them today and we'll see if they help and i'll let you all know.

Welcome to the family, Alex. You mentioned that you hated the brain fog the most, and then I remembered reading about a drug for brain fog in a recent post. You might be interested in reading it for yourself. It is posted by Craig (Fletch2ya), and Provigil is the drug.

Oh, be patient with waiting for results from supplements. They take a while to work, but often you get very good results.

thanks i'll talk to my doc about that next time i see him. if the supplements do their job hopefully i will be able to cope and not need any more meds tho, i definately think the cymbalta worsened my fibrofog for some reason, it made me very complacent with nothing so i just kinda died for a while as soon as i stopped taking the cymbalta my mind seems a bit more free and my nausea and stomach pains have subsided for the most part.
