Thanks for the message. Im finding out that itll take some time, but I was hoping for a quick fix. I believe Im having some side affects to the neurontin I dont feel like Im all there and then I get very flushed and my cheeks get red and are warm to the touch. What type of doct. should I be seeing Im currently seeing a rheumatologist but I have an appt. tomorrow with my pain doct. I already has this appt. before I found out about fibro. Im suppose to have a neurostimulator implanted in my back for knee and foot pain and arthritis.

Thanks for the message Ive never been involved in any online forums so I was alittle worried. I have checked In to water therapy and I think I might start next week I have a YMCA not to far from my home.Do you think I should call the doct. with what I think are side affects. Not feeling all there, getting flushed and face getting really red and warm to the touch. Im just worried I have alot of drug allergies and Im scared that he wont find any medication that I can tolerate.

Jane,

I go to an Internal Med group, a Fibro specalist, and a neuro. I know that didn't answer your question though The fog is rolling in....

I can tell you that the dr's have backed off of some of my meds because of the "not there" feeling.

Jane,

Not to worry... you will get it right... I take Symbalta, for the pain I take Lyrica and or Ultram-ER, for breakthrough pain I have a stash of oxicodone(but that is for emergencies!!!) for anxiety (if I need it) generic Xanax, and provigil for energy. I am like you in the fact that I am allergic to everything!!! I am so fearful of starting something new.... But all the above has been really good. No side effects when I started out realllllllyyyyyy slow and increased gradually...Let me know how it goes for you???
