Hello everyone I am new here and I am just learning how to navigate and post. I have just been D/X with fibro and am learning to live with the pain that we all go thru. I was in The ER yesterday with pain in my chest I thought I was dying. So the ER doc that works for my DR gave me moraphine I thought I was allergic to it but come to find out I am not. So far my DR has me on demoral for the pain but I can't stay on it long term for chronic pain so now they want to try me on the moraphine if my B/P is up due to addisons disease then I would take the moraphine and if it's low for the day I would take the demoral. Does anyone have any experience with moraphine and does it work for the chronic pain. My DR wanted to put me on the fentynl patch and after reading the side effects no way would I put that thing on my body. Hope to talk to you all soon and get to know you all.

Thanks Snoopy I feel very blessed to have found this site, living with this fibro and everything else is tough when you don't have friends who understand what we are going thru. Hope your feeling good today. My DR just put me on Ms Contin SR 15mg today and it seems to be working pretty good so far lets hope it stays that way. Take care kimi

Hi Kim,

Im new too! Nice to meet you. I was diagnosed exactly a week ago today, but have been living with the pain for years. Im not sure about the drugs you've mentioned. I myself am on Prozac and now amitryptalin..spelling may be wrong. I just stated the amitryptolin 2 nights ago, so cant tell you much except I slept really really well the first night. Good luck and take care,

Shar
