MDJunction to me

1magicman"Before i found MDJ i was in the deepest darkest part of my life after my abduction. I wanted to feel safe. I wanted that sense of being a normal person.Finding MDJ and the people with in it has steered me down the correct path into the light of hope. The feeling of hope that i was not alone, the feeling of hope of understanding, and the feeling of hope to move on. I never give up hope." (1magicman)

I hope I'm doing this wright. My daughter found this site and thought I might find the support I need here. I'm 43 and was diagnoised with fibromyalgia 3 years ago. Of course I also have all the usual stuff IBS, Arthritis, Fatige, sleep disturbance, ect. I am married and my husband is a truckdriver. So I tend to fall into the single parent roll the most. I have four daughters 20-13yrs.

My girls are good kids but are all teenagers which come with thier own set of rules and only makes my frutration worse. No matter how I try to slow down or do the best I can to do what I need to for the girls, when I say it outload it just sounds like whinning.

Welcome! You'll find lots of support, advice, shoulders to cry on, ears to vent to, and especially cheers when you have good news. Feel free to do all of the above. There's usually at least one of us online but if not, we respond back asap.

What Starr said,Tongue . Plus, each teen has his or her own individual set of rules. It's not whining, it's sharing your frustration at trying to remember all the different sets of rules. Grin. I have three of my own stil at home and 2 more living with us now, age 19 to 16. W00t

As the recently nominated "cheerleader" of the group (LOL) let me welcome you!! You've already seen how many people say what a great group of people this is. I can only add to that - IT'S THE ONLY PLACE TO BE IF YOU ARE STUCK WITH FIBRO!!! This group has really become my heart and soul for tackling this dd. I have a good husband, supportive parents, and some new moms I've just met beside me during this fight, but there is nothing like getting support from the ones who truly understand what it's like to be in your shoes!
