I've been really frustrated lately with my cognitive function. I get confused easily. I turn the wrong way when I'm on my way to a familiar place. I mix up my words and stutter. Sometimes I can't think of the words at all. I am constantly backing up while I type because I make so many mistakes. I forget appointments. I write them down, but forget to look back. I have so many notes, it takes me hours to compile them.

Sundazy, welcome to the world of Fibro Fog. If you never heard of it, like I hadn't till I came here, you will find that we all experience it. There are a couple posts about. while it's very frustrating you can at least get a laugh out of some of the things the rest of us have done. Look for "fibro fog" and "you know it's bad when..." When your done with those you'll know you came to the right place. Welcome to our family. You will see there are a lot of good caring people here.

Previous discussions I participated in:

well i'm back again and i just need to vent!!!!!!! my hubby and i just had words and they were not very nice.as we both made good and valid points and views we still could not stop.

i had surgery yesterday and I came out fine(no indometreoius.or cancer)well had a really really horrible night.called doc few mins ago and recived her input and so os so forth. My insion is bleeding and I cant even lie down.Closed my eyes(sleep sitting up)know I feel like F****** S***(sorry if offencive to others)but this is how I feel.Great OBGYN but not up on the FM.I even told her it was FM but u know it goes (cross the T dot the I's one more thing crossed off the list)LOL. S*** fibro fog

He (hubby)& I are not doinging well TODAY.I feel his pain he is understanding and wonderful but I just wished he could feel what I and (all of us)feel for just a half hour.Like I said he is understanding and cares but like the old saying goes(don't judge a man"person" until you have walked "HA!HA!"in their shoes.

He feels helpless and I am BREAKING DOWN!!!!!!!!!

If anyone has any advice PLEASE PLEASE I REALLY COULD USE SOME ASAP.

!CRYING OUT & ON THE EDGE!

I'm an Advocate

My take on things cryingout, would be that, I've said once before is that men are fixers and if they can't fix it they become irratated. The words you had was probably because he doesn't know what to do to fix things. I know we all wish that our hubby's could feel the pain that we feel but be careful what you wish for. I too felt that way for along time and in September my hubby had to have a male related surgery which to this day he is still having pain. He now not only has my pain to deal with but his own.

It is good news that your surgery came out good so look to the positive things for just a second and be grateful that you don't have to endure any extra pain with another illness.

I know its hard right now to look at the good things but try too, and I think you will find that things on the surface right now aren't as bad as you think!! I do hope that you will start feeling better soon and I hope you and hubby can sit down and talk it out. Just remember that men are fixers and if they can't fix it they have a hard time understanding it.

I'm not a dr, anything stated in my post are from my own personal experiences.

I am a Herbalife distributor and have been trained in nutrition and weightloss. If you have any questions please send me a pm.

Never give up the fight we are all in this together.

Thanks Hampton and yes you are right on the fixing part.

I feel like I am robbing him of fun times and friends. He is a wonderful man and he does not like having to sit back and watch me wither away.

Sorry to about you'r hubby Ihope the pain will back off because it is really hard when one is down let alone both of you.

I am new at this so I am still learning how to get around the site.So I was so glad to have seen a response back on my problem.

Sincerly
