Hello and Welcome

I've suffered from Fibromyalgia since a boy, but never really understood what I was suffering from until two years ago when my first real episode sent me to the hospital. Since then I've had three lower spinal discs become ruptured and my ability to move around has been significantly reduced to the point that most of the time is spent in bed.

As many of you who suffer know, getting proper treatment, let alone assistance from the government, is a very tough subject to deal with and even getting a medical professional to acknowledge this condition is a challenge that is beyond understanding.

My hope, about six months ago, was to put together a support group in Reno, Nevada with the goal of sharing information about treatments, medical professionals, and informational materials that could benefit people who suffer from this yet are unable to find help.

I believe, do to the nature of this disease, that this might very well be the best first step in doing so and that this could be a healthy and positive avenue for all sufferers to be able to find the support they/we need.

So please feel free to contribute, absorb, and reach out. If there is anything I can do please feel free to contact me personally. I plan to provide information here that could hopefully be helpful that has been graciously given to me in the past years and has helped me greatly.

Thanks very much for having my back with the email thing. I never considered such a thing, but I guess that's the price we pay for having a cyberworld at our exposure.

Thanks most especially to you Alon for helping make all of this happen and I plan very soon to post some helpful starters to get things rolling. It's been slightly difficult with some recent setbacks in my medical condition, but this is too important to let slip at all so you will have my full devotion and participtation.
