I think I was wadering aimlessly through the internet and found this forum. I am so happy that I did.

I honestly don't know how I did it before I found everyone here.

I just did a little looking back ...

On July 24th, Amy asked me to become an official greeter to new ones to our Fibro Family. On that day we had 1,024 members . Tonight (less than a month later) we have 1165 members ...

That tells me that the medical professionals had best get busy finding us relief from Fibro or at least something to put us in remission .

I was feeling really down, helpless and so in need of a means to express my feelings to those who really understand what I am going through. I began to search the web and I was fortunate to find this wonderful group.
Hello. I am a registered nurse coordinator who was diagnosed with FMS two years ago, but my primary doctor suspected I had suffered with this conditon for years, but it had become progressively worse. Due to the worsening of FMS, I am now retired on disability. I am seeking support to better understand and manage my pain, anxiety and depression regarding this condition. I hope that I can also be of great support to others here too.

I tend not to post a lot but I read a lot, but when I joined, sometime in June, there were a little over 900. I do post if see something or I need some help but I do read everything and I have found my 2 best friend on this site, if not for this site I am not sure where I would be today. It may sound korny by it is true.

I was looking up info on fibro and decided to see if there were any support groups. I found this group and have been so blessed. I have a lot of great friends. I feel like I have a huge extended family here.

God bless you all and your families .

8/21/08 We are up to 1178 now and growing and ....growing...and growing !!! WOW !!!

Every time I check in here (which is at least twice a day even when I m working) and more when I m not, there are always newbies to welcome and posts to reply to.

What a blessing it is to have so many friends but my wish is that we could all have met under less painful and stressful situations.

{{{HUGS}}} to all of you , Friends !!! I hope you are having a great day today !!!
