I am just in the process of being diagnosed , but I know that I have it. I am constantly in pain and have a hard time working and doing anything. Its not that I don't want to do it, I pysically cant. My husband of 3 years just does not understand .

He's in denial sweetpea. I went thru the same thing last year when I was diagnosed. My in laws didn't believe that I was sick. I didn't look sick and they thought it was because I didn't want to work anymore. I had a terrible flare up on Easter of this year. All of the in laws saw what pain I was in but I did manage to make something to take to diner with them and I did manage to show my face although they could see the pain in it.

He will come around. Just be patient. My husband finally accepted the fact that I wasn't faking it and has been such a big help.

Fibro hugs to you.

Jan

I agree with janilee dear it's the same with any disease or illness that a loved one gets. No one wants to admit that the one they love is sick and that they are going to be in pain. I think janilee is a very wise woman and she is right in that you need to be patient with him, he'll come around.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.
A Native American Blessing
