I don't know either, I am still trying to find that out.

I must be different though, because my daughters' friends, they have their own families too, right, well, their moms' do not 'parent' is the word now, their grandchildren...at least, not without compensation. I have heard some say that I am weird, because I could never take money from my daughter and son in law for keeping my grandbabies. I guess I caused a real ruckus when my daughter was working at the library.....lol, she worked for almost a year, but, then she missed youngest granddaughter so much and doing things at the school, she gave up her job. I guess most ppl find it an inconvenience to stay with their grandbabies, cuts into their own time I suppose, so they want/need some kind of payment. I had nothing better to do, so, why not watch tv with granddaughter, she could watch caillou 24/7. They still talk about me, but, you know what....I DON'T CARE! I do what I need to, for me, when I can...lately, they have been few and far between, just no energy you know.....but, am going to stay with the girls tonight, son in law birthday today, so it's party time! I am even going to stay over, so they can be as late as they want, we are all usually sleeping anyway by the time they come home. They know my policy, NO DRINKING AND DRIVING, so if they don't have enough money, take a cab and I pay for it.

So, have a great day all, I must get this old body ready to go now, you know what's funny, I hurt all over, energy drained, but, there is 1 good thing, no fibro fog, at least I don't think so...LOL

How could you charge to watch your own grandkids that is funny. I don't even charge my friends to watch their kids. It was funny when my kids were younger I'd tell my husband on his day off Im going to the store watch the kids. He's like I dont want to babysit. I'd have to tell him he wasn't babysitting they were his.LOL

Same here, I am everyone's dodo, they know I never want anything, I am just happy there are days that I still can stay with all the kids.

My granddaughters call me dodo right, youngest one says "my friend dodo", her sister and her mom tried to tell her I was not her friend, they wanted to tell her I was her grandmother, she wasn't hearing it, I am just her friend dodo. She has been having some kinda stomach flu for the last couple of days, it makes me feel soooo good, she doesn't want anyone but her friend dodo, it is sooo good to feel needed and wanted. Her little hugs and her warm little body just felt so good, it was a drug with all the best side effects.

Little kids do make you feel better because they don't care if your all messed up. They make me laugh. There honesty and humor always makes my day better, and it always feels good to feel wanted and needed

I am glad she seems to be over the worst of her flu? she is keeping stuff down now, which is good. but, when I can't get over there, we turn our webcams on and we can see each other, she doesn't care if I have had a shower today or not, or even if I have brushed my hair yet or not. she is just happy to see me on the computer if she can't see me in person, and that is the best start to my day.
