 I have had fibro since 1991 have been diagnosed since 94 had been through many doctors andmany meds most meds for this condition tend to rip my stomach appart. like ultram and most of the antiinflammatories, I have been the gambit of treatments from quinine to TENS I have had many OTHER aliments crop up since my dx such as diabetes high blood pressure high cholestrol, had a fatty liveronce, I have IBS and bladder incontinence, spinal stenosis OA PA psorisis this past jan I nearly died from a high blood pressure medicane and alpha blocker which bound me up so bad that I ended up witha potassium so low that if it had dropped 1 mopre point I would have been in more than serious trouble.

the one thing I hate to hear from doctors is there is nothing worong with you that losing weight won't "CURE" I hate this cause I KNOW there are skinny women out there with the same ailments I have so why for me should it be weight causing it do doctors tell skinny people to GAIN weight???

oh I was here once before but lost my user name and password so I joined again

 good luck on the neuurontin I was on that way back I maxed out the dossage couldnt function in my daily life and moved on to the next medicine

 Thank you, I just increased yesterday to 600mg, so far everything is going ok. I am still in pain but I am not having any side effects.

 I definitely have to do that... write username and password... which of course reminded me of a bill to pay... and just came back from having to call and get my password reset, because the last time I had to call and get it reset, I didn't write it down......... yeah.

My mom used to tell me that if I lost weight, I'd feel better. I think that now that she has a diagnosis, she's realizing it's not because I've put on weight. I've put on weight because of being in pain. Meds. etc. Needless to say, she's not saying it anymore.
