[b]Hi everyone.. I am new to the group and was just found to have Fibromyalgia....Today I am feeling very good.. I can tell the medication is working and I am so thankful to God and the prayers that was being said for me to find out what was wrong with me... I felt like I was going insane and that no one beleived me when I told them how I felt and how bad it hurt because no blood test came back with anything and every test they did came back fine but the pain continued to happen and sometimes I would cry because it hurt so bad... All I can say is that I kept searching and reading and listening and PRAYING.. and it was answered and found....

DO NOT GIVE UP.....

Please feel free to email me I would love to talk with you and make friends....

Welcome MandyK, kind of good news, bad news huh? The good news: you're not crazy, the bad news: you have FMS. . Looking forward to getting to know you, this is a great group of people you can make lots of friends here.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

I picked out a link to go to and started reading and had to stop reading when I came to this part

( Many people associate the development of fibromyalgia with a physically or emotionally stressful or traumatic event, such as an automobile accident.)

it makes me wonder because the whole family was in a auto accident about 9 months ago....and it was so horrible to me... I remember looking in the side mirror and saying Honey that truck is not stoping Honey go go go but he couldnt go anywhere... I remember thoughts of my 2 teen age boys going thru my head in the back seat of the mini van and then Rob tried to floor it turning the wheels but it was to late....the truck slammed into us at 45 mph... glass flew everywhere and I remember hearing my youngest son screaming out and there was nothing I could to to stop it... I felt helpless..... my oldest just yelled Mom... Rob held the brakes tight but the van still moved... Once I was able to get my barings I jumped out of the van and I remember the thoughts racing in my mind... ( what am I to see when I open this sliding door ) thoughts of CPR and first aid flooded my head thinking what will I use for bleeding I grabbed the door and opened it ... my youngest son had this look of terror on his face that I will never forget...he was wearing his seat belt and we thought his collar bone was broken... My oldest son well he was ok but said his stomach hurt where the seat belt had been... and I was ok and my husand he was ok... the boys had to go to the hospital... they had bruising down the front of them and around the necks.... Ryans collar bone was not broke he had alot of bruises though...and David was very sore but he was ok too....Now when I stop though I always check my mirrors to see if anyone is going to slam into the van again..

I know I started having problems with my Monthly after that and I was hurting and played it off as being sore from the accident,,,even months after it....I would take aleve to help but it would only do so much....Maybe this is why it happened to me....

I have to say I am sorry for the long story... I dont know why but it felt really good to write it out... I have never written it out before....please forgive me for the long post....

God never gives you more then he knows you can handle....
