Thank heavens for walls, chairs, benches, anything that doesn't move. I know that my balance is way off, much like mcbeth I tend to stagger or wander like I was drunk.I have only fallen once in a while, mostly just stagger or stumble over my own feet, which you would think I would remember were there.

May life always bring you laughter.

I have had balance problems but they have gone and I am left with a feeling that the ground is unstable, this happens on flat or uneven surfaces. Is fibro the only thing that is wrong or do you have other problems,or maybe I should mind my own business.

I fall too... I fell down the stairs once. My worse one was when I was at the gas station that I go to all the time, and I went to step over the gas hose to go to the passenger side of my car and put my credit card away but I got tangled in the hose and fell. I had just had back surgery, so of course my back was killing after that, I also hurt me knee and had fluid on my knee for a couple of months. I was so embarassed, all I could think was who saw me and just get in the car and go!!!!!!

malaluka I don't mind you asking, I have Hypothyroidism caused by Hashmoto's Disease, Restless Legs, and strange absence seizures that seem to have no reason,as well as some other strange neurological things and very, very, severe migraines. I too feel the ground is unstable, sometimes it seems to move or get soft. Sometimes I just sort of list to one side like a boat taking on water. Happy Fourth !!

Thank you everybody that responded to my post! I fear my frequent, 2-3 times a week, may be caused by a co-existing condition. I guess I'll know for sure after the muscle biopsy. At least my physical therapist is cute
