Hi everyone!! I'm pretty new to all of this but I've tried everything else and nothing is working. Thought some extra support might do the trick. I've been dealing with this "nightmare" for almost a year now. I got pregnant last May shortly after my wedding. By July I was having a day or two here and there where I felt like I had the flu. By Nov. I was having terrible pain daily. Everyone thought when I delivered it would improve, but instead it's gotten worse at times. It took me a week and a half to "recover" from hosting the party after my daughter's christening. I've had more medical tests than I can count, and I've seen my primary, a neurologist, rheumatologist, OBGYN, perinatal specialist...next is a psychiatrist...two drs think it's postpartum depression!! Don't know how that can be since it started before the baby was born and it was a relatively stress-free time since I'm a teacher and was out for the summer. Anyway, thanks for "listening." I hope I can offer some support to others as much as I need it myself.

I Just want to say Welcome. You will find a lot of great support hear, I know I do. I got FMS back in 2000 and then got pregnant after the fact and mine got worse too and continues down that road and I too had numerous test and still go through test and have seen many different doctors. Unfortunately I don't have much light on this subject due to spending all of my time and research on my daughter who has autism but I can relate to everything you are going through. They will find many things to try and blame it on cause they can't find an answer but don't except that, don't ever give up the search! There will always be a listener here. Again welcome

Kari

Thanks for the welcome!! I can't even imagine dealing with an autistic child while being healthy! Lost of luck to you!! I provided therapy for an autistic toddler for a few years. It was a while back but made enough of an impact on me that whenever I see an article about autism being on the rise, I say a little prayer that it will spare my child. Hang in there! You have a tough road on so many levels.

May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.
