Hey all. I have osteoarthritis but that doesn't seem to account for the chronic pain. Stress definitely is a factor in muscle tension especially neck, back, and shoulders. really those are the only areas of chronic pain and there are no tender spots.

My past has been oversaturated with abuse, diseases, disorders, dysfunctional families, stress, and alcoholism, since 3 when I was sexually abused.

I fatigue easily, can't wake up without stimulants, and experience a brain fog in the AM. Then again I have depression and sleep apnea which coul contribute to this, but both are being treated and make my dillema easier. They do not however solve the problem completely. AM stimulants help immensely.

I'm a bipolar alcoholic pothead 8 months sober and quite likely that is a contributing factor to my doing better.

This seems as hard to daignose as my bipolar and that took 10 years! HELP in whatever way you can. I have a feeling I am not treating at present my full condition and am trying to find out whatelse if anything is wrong with me.

Love you all,

Jeff Davis

Is your fiance a member of this site? That would be great. She could show you to go and find the old forums and read them. Both in the bipolar and the fibro forums.

It sounds like some of the fibro symptoms but I'm not a doc and with your other medical problems also. Have you seen a rheumatolist?

I hope you can find relief soon. Good luck. Kathy

What part of your body is affected by the osteo? I have FMS and osteo in my ankle, which can contribute to severe depression because of inability to walk. Sounds like you have FMS, but I'm no doc!

My back, neck, and shoulders endure chronic pain.
