hi everyone,

i'm 23, trying to finish a degree and i've just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. i've been in pain for about 8 years and tried lots but haven't found anything that's helped so far.

i'm not new to mdjunction, though it's been a while since i've been on here...life's been getting me down but i struggle to put it into words even tho i feel like i need to talk!

i feel kinda lost right now, so i'm hoping talking to people that understand what constant pain is like will help.

Hi Thyqua, welcome to the fibro family! I'm so sorry you have fibro but all here know how you feel.. the pain and everything that goes with it can be devistating. Just talking about it with others who understand can be a release for you, knowing your not alone in this is comforting. So just let loose with how you're feeling.

Again welcome and don't be a stranger lol.

Hugs Lisa

Hi, and welcome! It's a great feeling to be part of a group that understands the pain and, sometimes, isolation and even criticism from people who just don't get it. We're not lazy, crazy or "faking"! And we know it.

We can also get a lot of information from each other here, as well as support and even (gentle) hugs from time to time! Looking forward to knowing you, Jeni

My advice is free, completely anecdotal, and comes from my own experience. Always talk to your doctor before you change anything.
