Yikes that is awful. Tylenol I agree does nothing. Like eating candy. That does make it difficult. You definetely need something else for the bad days. Grrrr. somedays I hate DR.s

Hope that this doesn't upset you if you have been down this road before but have you "demanded" them to look into other things and or to refer you to a different doctor?

(this is still a bit new to me)

I tried Lyrica shortly after it came out. Unfortunately, for me, after 4 days- I became really ill from the drug.

Lots of people have wonderful results with it. It just wasn't for me.

Good luck! I hope you find something that helps.

I have found that it was sloooow going for any apt before because I am a very layed back person and also think that I am superwomen (was before, huge threshold for pain)and didn't really push how bad I am. Now that I have gotten more assertive about how I cannot live with this pain, fatigue and loss of income, I am finally getting some head way. It is sad that you basically need to be in tears and act like a child for anything to happen. We have little dignity left, why do we have to act like non professional "adults" to get anything done?

Keep fighting!

I still would love to finally find out what caused it. I have been told stress, my bells palsy, and I have an auto-imune problem which led to many miscarriages. I want to know WHY? and that seems to be something no one knows for sure.

Personally for me I think that whatever is wrong with me is due to my lack of dealing with childhood tramas, in the way of sexual abuse, dealing with how people interacted with me due to my physical disformities, whiplash maybe in 2000 and because I think that I am superwomen and make my body do waaaay more then it can handle because I am stubborn and have a God complex! I think that my body is finally saying "hello!!!!" but really, who knows......It would make it more mentally bearable if we all knew though!!!!

Did your bells palsy go away?? My sister had that after she had her 2nd baby. The side of her face was more or less paralized for like 6mo. Is that what its like for you or is it different for everyone. Sorry if thats a rudr question, just curious.
