Hi all... I have been getting some sun recently and afterwords, even if I am in the sun for a little bit, my face feels like its on fire, and my arms itch and I get a rash.. can elavil cause this? Just wondering if I should be wearing sunscreen. I don't usually burn... just wondering.. Gretchen

HI according to this web page yes you can be sun sensitive when taking Elavil

Elavil may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Try to stay out of the sun, wear protective clothing, and apply a sun block.
