I was just wondering if any of you had any advice for me on what exercises to do? I heard that yoga was a good choice, but I have hip that pops out of place and the positions agrivate it a LOT!

The only thing I have found to work for me so far is to swim. And since having to get out of Active duty service I have gained a lot of weight and don't feel comfortable getting into a swimsuit so i was hoping there was something else i could do first.

I wish I knew too b/c if I even walk too far, I pay for the next week. I'd like to exercise, but I fear what I'll pay for it in the end...

Exercise works. You have to start out slow. I exercise in a warm pool at Aquatic Therapy. I started out doing 3 repetitions

of each exercise. I could barely do it. I worked up to 5 repetitions and then 10 and now 15. As for walking only walk as far as you can and work your way up. Exercise is the key. BUT-I went back to my full time job after two months off for Family Medical Leave. By day 4, I hurt just as badly as I did before I left work. Living with a 26 year old mentally retarded step-daughter that refuses to listen to anything I say causes stress beyond what I've ever had. I know I have to keep exercising though. I think it's time for her to go live with her mother. I can't take it anymore.

My disabling chronic illness is more real than your imaginary medical expertise.

My heart goes out to you Ladybug, and those of you in the same situations. It reminds me how doing what I have to do, is not nearly as much as you do. And at how much stronger you are than I am, so i need to 'buck-up' and try harder to be normal. You should be commended.

From what i understand water is the best you can get, if you can get it. I bought 'palates for dummies' and am not sure where it is... haha... but i still do some, some of the time...

Exercise can be a good way to get rid of the stress, too bad we can't do more strenuous workouts to just get rid of it all...

I'm still trying to find the exercise I can tolerate. Everytime I try even when I think I'm going slow I pay for it for 3 days. I do try and swim lightly I like for my husband to keep the solar heater on so the water is real warm but then noone else can swim without complaining it's too hot.

eh, well I guess just like you make accommodations for others, I suppose they may have to tolerate it so that you can function right, right - I know easier said than done Just let them read the letter, then they'll be happy to have the pool however you want it...LOL

Thats what I hear about water aerobics too. However I bought Taebo Bootcamp and the Firm before I really started to hurt. I just hope the money I spent wont go to waste. I try it every now and then.
