I have to agree with Meleggs about the depression and an anti-depressant. It could be worth it or perhaps reducing the dose on some of your meds? Another thing to consider is that many anti-depressant meds have some sort of pain relief properties and may work well in conjunction with your other meds.

foxyroxy I think you know that we know you are in a very tough spot and we don't know what to say other than you can unload here. None of us will pass judgement on you because we've been there and being terribly depressed in my opinion is one of the worst hells you can be in. I'm really sorry the meds didn't work for you. I also know it is hard when you feel your friends are talking behind your back because they "see something wrong" but they won't tell you to your face. I know when I was severely depressed it really affected some of my relationships and some friends to this day I don't quite trust as much. They think you can just get out of the funk on your own and they don't understand but they probably want to help but don't know how. I was mad at friends that were talking about me at the time. Even when they did bring it up to me it's like they were doing some "tough love" thing which at the time was absolutely worthless.

If you don't mind me asking- if you've been bad before what did help? How were you able to make it passed the really terrible times before?

Please know I along with other people really feel for you. I don't know how helpful it is saying we are here but we are if that brings any comfort.

I'm not big into easy solutions or just saying a quick "peppy line" thinking it makes everything better because I've been there and that didn't help me. I think what got me thru besides the meds were the few family members that really stuck by me and said "no matter what we are going to help you thru this". They didn't complain about my crying and they gave me company during the worst of it.

I've gone on long enough but just know we are here when you need to unload. We do care!!!!!

The only thing that ever helped were the ECT's and I cant do that again! For one they are really painful afterwards and they cant controll my pain now. What would they do for me after that?? The only thing thats going to help is if my pain lessens. But they say that wont happen unless my depression lessens but I cant get in untill the end of july. What am I supposed to do?? I am not the doctor. I am going to medicate myself soon if thats what it comes down to.
