Girl, we all know your pain. Yes, my episodes are like yours. I've been hospitalized due to the pain. I'm lifting you up in prayer and asking God to hold you in the palm of HIS mighty hand. Don't give up----just sleep and rest! This will pass slowly, but surely. It's part of having the fibro. demon visit!

Thats how I feel. I just cant move, my muscles are so fatigued. I cant even do school work for alomst 2 days after I get where I cant move. I feel depressed too even though I take Lexapro and Trazadone, both antidepressants.

lzbeth,

I'm so very sorry that you are also being attacked by the fibro. demon. I'll also pray for your recovery. Sleep and rest----let your body heal.

Wow, I'm humbled by so much understanding and support and prayers. Thank you all so very much. I'm feeling better now. I wish I had this kind of support system at home, but that's another discussion for another time. Thanks again.

get rid of the trazadone. Hon, I'm serious. When I was on it I couldn't function. Sleepy, fatigued, hurting, depressed...all that plus the pain. That's how I felt. Ask the dr to try putting you on skelaxin. It's a muscle relaxer. an antiinflamitory drug, painkillers, and clonazapam to help you get the healing sleep you need. Along with taking cymbalta, an anti-depressant. The Lyrica too, of course. This "cocktail" works wonders for me along with pain patches. Take care and Gods peace. Cindy aka Smiley

Well my ppsychiatrist gave it to me to help me sleep because of my anxiety. I dont really experience the "hangover" sometimes associated with it. I was going to see when the next time I saw the Rheumatologist if a muscle relaxer could help me.

The muscle relaxer that I use is Xanaflex. I find that it helps with the spasms, cramps, and with the sensitive feeling. I think that it probably helps with the sensitivity and burning because I feel that my muscles get tense around my nerves causing them to be inflamed. The over inflammation isn't helped by ibuprofen, it's beyond that, so the Xanaflex has already relieved the burning foot pain that I had for those 3 terrible nights! If I had to pick anything that I take over the next, it would definitely be Xanaflex and it helps at sleepy time too.

I'm sorry your are feeling so bad, hopefully you will get some help soon. I don't think the antidepressants work all that well or so with me, I take effexor xr 300mg and I'm still depressed sometimes I think it's just me and nothing will help!!! I hope and pray someone will help you!! You are too young to deal with all of this!! God Bless!!! Linda
