I was wondering if you drink caffiene to get through the day? I feel that I have to just to get through my classes. Am I the only one?

I have 2 cups of coffee in the morning. For the most part that's it. Sometimes I'll make a pot of decaf in the evening or have a cup of tea. I would drink coffee all day but I'd be in the bathroom all day and I wouldn't get any sleep at night.

But I LOVE my coffee!.

I drink coffee in the morning and a diet energy drink early afternoon. But sometimes I need extra if I have something going on in the evening. My church has a softball league, and I enjoy going to the evening games. The fellowship helps me feel better.

I usually have about three cups in the morning when I get up. I was going to try to quit, but I though since it is my only "vice" I will keep it unless my doctor tells me otherwise.

I drink coffee and diet coke. I try not to drink it too late in the day though.

hi just a thought about caffiene..Caffiene is a vassel constrictor.... which mean it closes off your blood vessels...... constricting the flow of your blood..... I think that is the same thing that happens with migraines..

I was told by my doctor to get off all caffiene, and since I did it has cut my headaches almost completely out.....

That is actually my biggest fear in stopping--the migraines. Caffeine also helps migraines to a degree. When I don't have my morning coffee I am nearly suicidal from he pain. I guess gradually eliminating it is the trick.

Oh yes, definitely. It is the withdrawals that cause the headaches. But many migraine meds actually contain caffeine. Including the one I was just recently prescribed. It is also in many over-the-counter pain relievers.

I think the key, like with everything, is moderation. Unless of course your doctor tells you to cut all of it out. There are some other health benefits of coffee in general but I can't remember them at the moment.
