Does anyone with fibromyalgia have trouble with fever blisters? I have always had some trouble with them, but lately I seem to be getting them real often. I wondered if it has anything to do with the fibro.

Fever blisters are usually triggered by stress. I have had them all of my life. For every important event I am ususally there with my hair done beautifully and a lovely fever blister on my lip. As for the fibro, I have had only one. I have also had a case of shingle that was on my face and lower chin. I keep a supply of valtrax around and as soon as I feel the dreaded tingle I start taking it. This helps prevent the blister from getting uncomfortable and sometimes it goes away before it starts. I hope I have been helpful. Fever blisters are a curse I got them, my sister didn't.
