"My mother is dealing with chronic pain and has fibromyalgia" (worrieddaughter09)

MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

I'am having a really bad day, and normally I can make myself snap out of it, but I cant seem to do that today. I am angry and tired of this thing called fibromyalgia. I am cofused and bewildered as to why we have it. I want to climb to the tallest mountain and scream at the top of my lungs why god why, but the ironic part is that I can no longer get to the top of the mountain because my body no longer does what I want it to do.

I've had days like that. I just try to either take a nap or just call someone who listens and complain. If that doesn't work maybe a good cry can release the tension. Then take a pill since crying can make the physical pain worse.

Sorry about the bad day. It just plain sucks.

FIRST OF ALL, WELCOME TO OUR FIBRO-FAMILY Yep, sounds like you are going through a good old fibro spell. So sorry for that. I would change it if I could, but I can't because I have it too. And so far they haven't found a cure for it. You just hang on throughout the day. Weekends are slow for posting, but they'll soon be out to support you, listen to your rants and usually cry when you cry. We are all in this mess together. And you found a fantastic sight. This is a great group of people. Again, welcome. Kathy

I just went through this feeling myself and I understand it can be a very restless feeling.

Try doing something to take your mind off of things.

Heres something that might help take your mind off of things! Go to

www.Watch-Movies.net and there are loads of movies there! Some good ones that I have watched on this site are Juno, and Over Her Dead Body. It's not illegal and you don't have to download anything! It's 100% free!

theo I am sorry to hear that you are having such a bad day. WE have all been there done that and will definitely do it again. I feel your pain and wish there was some magic way to get through it but there isn't. Try whatever relaxes you the most, what you enjoy the most or just what lifts your spirits and reminds you of joy. Know that we are all here and will support you however we can. OOps forgot to ask if you find a way to the top of that mountain can I come too I want to do some screaming too.

May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

I want to thank you guys so much for taking the time to answer me back. I have had fibromyalgia since 1991, and this is the first time that I feel as if I can talk about it and i will be understood. Thank you for making me feel normal, and for reminding me that I am not alone.
