"My mother is dealing with chronic pain and has fibromyalgia" (worrieddaughter09)

MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

My pain used to be mostly in my left leg but that has shown some improvent with chiropractic care but now my shoulders and arms are racked with pain all of the time. My shoulders feel like they are on fire. It is really scary. Has anyone else had a shift in pain like this?

I have pain in the legs and fire like in my rightside of my chest and shoulder. I never know what I will feel when I wake up. Everyday is a change. I would put a cold compress on your shoulder.

Hope you feel better soon.

Mine started out in my legs and feet. They still hurt but the past few months my shoulder and neck have given me fits. I figured it was sitting at a computer for long hours during tax season. I use my heating pad and it helps, until I get up

I hope today is a better day for you.

Mine all started with my right knee hurting and now it goes all over the place. Thats the thing about Fibro is that the pain doesn't want to stay in one place.

I don't know if your on pain meds, but you might call your doctor and ask them about something to get you through your flare if it's so bad that you can't stand it.

I hope you find something that helps soon.

i too have moving pain, it comes with the territory, thats just the way it is, today, i feel like there is not pain in my legs, but my feet hurt real bad, and my hands hurt real bad, skip the arm today and then go directly to the center of my back, so, seeeee there, for me in my opinion, my pain is a constant mover, daily i never know where the pain is going to be. I also have fibro fog alot, and i believe its not a good thing , i feel it is affecting my life, I hope this helps u understand that ur not alone,

My pain really started when I was a little girl in my hips and knees. Then about 3 1/2 years ago, my right shoulder started to hurt. Not long after it started to travel to my elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet. Everyday it is somewhere else. It is like a bad christmas morning, a surprise every day.

Hang in there and you find something that helps you
