I too am on Lyrica and it helps alittle bit but I am not going to be able to take it anymore because my insurance is no longer going to cover Lyrica. So I will be off of it. But I am going to see that new doc next week so I will see what he has to say and then go from there. I am so glad that the Lyrica is helping so many of you.

And Hurtallover, I sure hope that you got ahold of your doc and am getting some pain pills for this weekend. Please tell your daughter that I said Congrats on her Confirmation and I will be thinking and praying for both of you this weekend.

{{Soft & Gentle Hugs}} to all of you.

echrist--

What do you mean about it nearly costing you your job? I assume that it didn't work out for you--terrible side effects??

I agree with you Tuffy, its worth the side effects of Lyrica, it does work, so I guess I'll be fat and happy too!

My only problem with Lyrica is that my insurance will not pay for it anymore. I did not have any side effects. I will find out within the next month if it helped me or not. But I do not have any problems with it.

I'm sorry to hear that your insurance will not cover it anymore. My Rx is 50.00 with my insurance.I hope they continue to cover it. It does help me, but with some side effects.

HI... that is the one thing the VA was good for ...was Lryica..... They would give me all of those I wanted.......

The Provigil that they recommended they will not give me...

Good luck with your INsurance Co....... they are terrible to deal with...

Well, I am going to wait and see what this new doc says about it and my other meds before I start fighting with the insurance company. I have heard other people say that their insurance won't cover some meds also. I just can not believe that some insurance do not care about a person's life. Their profit is more important. Until it is one of them.

Lyrica was a nightmare for me, it made me hallucinate, fall, eat like a horse, repeat myself constantly, not sleep for days. It made me sicker than fibro--I just caution everyone who wants to take this "new" drug that all the advertisements act like it is a miracle cure for fibro but they do not tell the flip side of people who's bodies react kinda like to being schitzophrenia (sorry probably spelled wrong) so I flushed it asap when i found out it was making me very ill and it took anout 4 days to leave my body and all the crazy symptoms POOF! Vanished! Good Luck to all that is on it I hope it helps the majority of you all instead of being in my shoes.
