Well I am home and mom is resting. The doctor said that there is alot of swelling and that it is too soon to tell but he thinks there is no evidence of a break or fracture. She has to go back and see him in one week. At that time, he will determine if an MRI is warranted. Mom is in a total left leg immobilizer and on a walker.

I am so dang drained! OH here is something! I wrote my older sister Kim an email telling her about the family reunion and that i was really sorry about alot of the thing i said to her. Well she wrote me back a huge nasty gram letter, calling me spoiled, faking FM and SLE, and that i have alienated my family and all that. I called my mother and read it to her and i was crying. She said i broke grandma's heart and all that and that i do not give a darn about the family. I HAD NO GAS to drive out there much less a car when i did live in FL and HERE I AM trying to reconcile and she cusses me from Iraq to tim buck too. I am so hurt that i tried one again to be nice and make nice nice for my mom and she chews me out. I should have expected i though knowing the person she is and what god she serves -- she is into wiccan. Oh well i know God saw i tried and i hope he will honor that. Thank you all for praying for me and God bless u all!

I'm so glad that your mother-in-law is ok. We will continue to pray that her leg or knee are not broken. I'm also sorry about your family but it sounds as if you have done the best you can. It can be so hard to please everyone especially the ones that we care about the most. Know that you tried and that is all you can do. Take care of yourself and get some rest. Jean

I'm so glad you MIL is doing better. May she get stronger and stronger each day.

As far as your mom and family go - oh,well - sounds to me like she is missing out on the oppunity to know what sounds like a good and decent daughter. Sadly to say, sometimes families work and some just don't.

But, many, many hugs and squeezes to you MIL and the same for you as well as much rest as possible.

Take care, any may God Bless You all!!

Kristine,

I'm happy your mother is home and recovering from her ordeal. But I will continue to pray for her.

As for the rest of the family sweetie I don't know what to say. I'm going through the same thing with mine and have desided to toss them to the curb. I can't give them what they want. Hope yours works out if you need a friend I'm here.

Trisha
