McBeth, I think you did the right thing about the money. She needed to be called and told how to act. Evidently she doesn't have any manners or how to use them. Our animal shelter has a board of directors and I think you should call and find out if yours does because they need to be told about her actions. She was asking for people to adopt those animals and no telling how many people walked off because of her. If she doesn't like her job maybe she needs to find another one.

Tuffy, I loved the Friday night fight. It was so funny. The part about me riding around on my husband's back made me laugh because my dad lives right next to us and I can just see his face if we went that crazy. He would probably be calling our local looney bin for us.

my dh told me over the weekend that he wasn't fightind with me bacause I was putting the dishes in the dishwasher, he just said that the problem is that his daughter doesn't do anything that meets my standards. I am trying to figure out my standards. My house most of the time looks like a cyclone hit it because I don't feel like cleaning and all I ask is that the dishes be put in the dishwasher, clean off the stove and counter, and wash out the sink, left over foodin the sink is gross nasty. I don't think that is a high standard but I didn't say it since I learned all this in church yesterday.

My grandson is here and he said to tell you all he is sick, he has ran a fever all weekend and is feeling much better today. He likes the little green face and wanted me to put it here.

Hey Guys and Gals...first off...Hey JanFromTN - I'd like to know how many 'spare' bdrms you have at your house? When you replied to the one post on how you live on the "beautiful plateus of Tennessee"...oh geez...I can just see it! I have always & still want to see what everyone brags about...the hills of Tennessee. (P.S...that is on my 'bucket list') If U have a good sized piece of land, U could invite all us "Fibbies" down for a get together. I could set up a small stand at the end of your driveway, sell Lemonade for 5 cents & $5 tickets to watch you ride DH around the yard. I'd 4warn your Dad we R comin'

But on a serious note, I feel sorry for the animals that 'weren't' possibly adopted because of that rude woman. I'm going to go to our local Rescue Village down the road from me this afternoon & donate myself. McBeth, you have motivated me to 'give more' to these poor lost souls! If only I had that farm!!!

Tuffy, I have no spare rooms, actually I could use a couple more. My daughter moved back home so she can go to surgical tech school. She did work at a factory and they moved to China and now she is unemployed. My dh's daughter moved in with us 2 years ago from AZ. She didn't get along with her stepdad and wanted to come here. You could still come visit though. That would be great! Your lemonade stand won't do much business though I live in next to the last house on a one lane dead end road. Sorry.

You would really love it here. We are rated one of the best places to retire to in the U.S. We have a retirement resort in our county with more people moving here every day. It is one of the biggest reasons our town has a low unemployment rate. They build houses in the $250,000 to 1 million dollar range. My son-in-law builds houses, my daughter rents them port-a-potties and dumpsters, my husband puts in irrigation systems and builds boat docks on the lakes. So you see they supply a lot of jobs by moving here.

my youngest daughter and my dh both have told me I am grouchy tonight so I must be getting ready for another fight. I don't think I am grouchy but they do. I am not grouchy, I am not grouchy and I am not grouchy and if you say it again I will jerk your arm off and beat you over the head with it. I mean it, I mean it.
