I have tried so much stuff, since I been on SSDI, like writing, making websites, photography, and really can not make an appointment or have a time schedule. I had to be a camerperson for TV, which was the last thing I needed as men do not help women in the business. They made me carry my own equipment, yet they help each other. And they don't have disabilities, they just wanted to prove that I couldn't do it. Well I could have had I not been sick. Oh by the way when I tell people I am sick they laugh, and say well you look just fine to me. That makes me want to start yelling at them. yet I do not. I had a guy in the a whell chair scream at me that he was going to turn me in to the police for using a the handicapped parking spot. Even though I have a placard. I swear. I just wanted to pat him on the head because I know they hate that. What I did say, was you are not a doctor and that there is more than one illness in the world besides being in a wheelchair. I walked up to him said, you know you have chip on your shoulder because he wouldn't stop yelling and screeming for the police. I finally just said go ahead. Oh Bush put out this thing about how fibro/cfs could work under the disability act, that employers had to provide a lounge that we could go rest in, and a bunch of other crap that no one in their right mind would have published. Like I have not found a job that lets you take a nap. lol Seriously though, I am so talented and educated and swoof, as soon I got my MFA, I became ill. I read a few posts that statet that they work at home. What is that you do? I need some ideas real ones, not Pres. Bush's. |
