MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

I get it in my face too. It goes down my jaw line. I talked to my nuerolgist about the tingling and he said it is a part of fibro. Here is a question. Besides the tingling, does anyone else feel off balance. There are times I bend down and when I stand up I feel as though I am off balance and have to hold onto something. I also have times when I am standing still and it feels as though the floor is moving out from under me.

I get off balance a lot. I fall into walls and door ways. I have more black and blue markes from walking into the walls because I loose my balance so often

talon 7461 I have had those same nerves test and they don't electrocute you. It is like a small zap. They do hurt a bit. But when I have them they don't hurt in every spot. What hurts is that they are very small needles they insert into the muscle. It does hurt, I won't lie. Don't be too afraid. But I hate that test it does suck!

I get tingling in my feet and my legs. Also my hands and one side of my face. I too have neuropahy in my entire right leg, which is horrible.

Im always falling over. Im sure people think im drunk, but I havent had a drink in 17 years.. The tingling in the hands just drives me nuts, and my feet too. alot of times when Im getting something to drink I reach for the glass or cup and take a hold and the darn thing falls out of my hand. That realy gets to me especialy if its the last of the pepsi which I dont buy very often and when I do its a real treat for us. Cinn...

Cinn, I read smewhere in the past couple of weeks, something about people with fibro having a staggering walk like a drunk. When I get home from work I'll try to see what book it was in, if I remember.
