Okay. Are your fibro points specific targets of the massage? I would think they are. Please, if you would be so kind, keep a little log and try to specifically time when the urine change takes place as regards to the timing of the massage. I sure hope I am right. I' trying to get a doctor to cooperate and be available to me to pull blood out during a very small window of opportunity. If I am right we can have several attacks a week, overlapping one another. You can even get them in your sleep. The key component, Thrombin, has a very short half-life in the bloodstream, literally minutes for activation. Too short for most doctors to catch if you are waiting around for them in their waiting rooms to get to you.

yes, my massage therapist concentrates on the knots than form on my trigger points. i usually have a hour and half massage once a week. my knots are very stubborn to get out thats why i have such a long massage. after my massage i drink a 20 ounce bottle of water on my way home. i normally notice a urine change in color as soon as i go and for about 12 hours afterwards. hope this helps!!!

The color. Is it clear to yellow after the massage or the other way around? Thank you so much, I appreciate this. So far no one else has responded.

its usually clear, i drink alot of water. after the massage it turns yellow and sometimes yellowish brown. i assume its from toxin build up in the knots. i just had a metal challenge test which also made my urine yellow. my tests results showed that i am very high in metal content. my lead levels were very high and mercury was high. i have a appt. with my d.o. on friday to see what we will do about it. i assume the next step will be chelation iv therapy to remove the metals. i'll let you know.

Sorry skeedawg for the lack of responses, I personally haven't noticed b/c I haven't really paid attention. Now that I'm in full flare and have been for about a month, I couldn't really tell ya if there is a huge difference =) I know, maybe I should know these things about myself, but I don't =)

Thank you. The twelve-hour transition fits the paradigm. The color shift is consistent also, with some allowence given with respect to our sleep periods. I'm waiting for my next shift back to yellow, which by the way is the normal color for normal people, right? This is a tricky, tricky condition I think. At the shift I figure I've got at least twelve hours to try a different approach. I'll let you know and thanks very much for your input.

I have personally been convinced through practice that a Fibro Diary is one of the most helpful things I've done for myself through my years of pain and slow disassociation from the rest of the world. Do you keep one? I never would have suspected what I am trying to figure out here if I had not seen some patterns, mine personally, that emerged from keeping my diary. If you suddenly realize that you can answer, please start a diary for sure. Thanks.
