Hi I have been going to a chiropractor on and off for a few years now to try to loosen my neck and lower back. He has helped me, but I also find that I'm in alot more pain a couple of days after I have been worked on.

I have made an appointment next week to see a Dr. about acupuncture, which is the only type of treatment that I haven't tried yet. I have been out of work for a couple of weeks now and would like to get back, but I feel I'm not ready to do my CNA STUFF right now.

Has anyone tried acupuncture and what kind of results have you had? Would be real interested to find out before I spend more money on something that might make me feel worse than better. Lois

hi..I see one about once or twice a month...depending on how I feel... she is really good for localized pain...like my shoulder, neck or arms...ect.. but has yet to do with anything with the fibro.....she can treat the pain symptoms.... she gives me a lot of chinese herbs to try to help with the fibro, but as yet have seen no help....

I am also seeing a Holistic Dr... which I do think is helping....

Hi Craig...thanks so much for sharing your info with me!

If your acupuncturist helps with localized pain, then I'm praying this Dr. can help me. I have 2 areas that really flare up and that's my neck ( and in between my shoulders) and my lower back.

Now you visit a Holistic dr. Please tell me about this because i have not tried one and would really be interested in their technique. Thanks, lois
