hi everyone, i'm new to this site but it looks like it contains tons of awesome info and lots of great support. i dont really know where to start, i'm 22 and i was diagnosed about 6 years ago already. i'm married and work full time but i'm not sure for how long. i work with kindergarteners and my job is really demanding. i may be going on short term disability shortly here but i'm just looking for people to talk to who i can relate with. my friends are all very young, vibrant and youthful and here i feel like i'd be best fit in a nursing home anyway i'd love to hear others stories and share mine as well! hope to hear from someone soon!]

Welcome to the group fibrogirly.

Wow, 22 is a young age, my daughters are 24 and 18. You have so much life to live. It will be different with fibro, but not impossible. You will meet the challenges as they come. I have great faith in someone that is able to work with kindergarteners. You are a brave woman.

I hope you find that we are a great group and there are answers to your questions and a lot of support here.

Hi and welcom to the group!

I can so relate to the feeling of fitting in better at a nursing home.

When I read that I had to laugh! I was thinking theres one I've not yet used to describe myself.

Hello welcome to our little family of fibromites. I second DoDo's thoughts,i don't know how you work with those little balls of energy, just thinking ablout it makes me want a nap.Hang in there dear your road ahead may be a little bumpe but you are not alone we are all here and hopefully we can be helpful to you.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.
