Has this ever happened to anyone else out there?? I was not feeling well yesterday at all. Spent most of my day in bed or in the bathroom! When I came out of the bathroom I went crashing down on the floor and landed on my face! Spotting a nice black and blue bruise on my right cheekbone! Thank God I didn't land on my nose. I don't remember a thing!!

The rest of this event is told to be by my husband!

He said that our dog ran out of the bedroom and starting barking like crazy to get his attention. When my husband got to me I was flat out on my face. He rolled me over and calling my name. My eyes were rolling in the back of my head. He said that it took about 5 minutes for me to somewhat focus on him! He and my son picked me up and carried me to our bed. There I was still out of it. I could hear him talking to me and the dog barking, but I couldn't answer for the longest time. Probably about 15 minutes later I came back. I didn't know what had happened and how I ended up in bed!! My husband and son were terrified and wanted to rush me to the hospital, but I said that I was alright. And I was.

Is this part of Fibromyalgia?? I sure hope not, cause it was really bad! Thank God I didn't go and fall down the stairs. It could have been really serious.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Puddles

Get checked out by a doc. It sounds more neurological to me rather than fibro. I have some neuro stuff and this has neuro written all over it. If it happens again call an ambulance. Paramedics see all kinds of stuff and so do ER doctors. Usually they won't let you leave the hospital until they have some general idea of what is going on.

Feel free to PM me if you want to talk. I'm always here.

This doesn't sound like anything related to Fibro.

Please go to your doctor that sounds so scary and you don't know when or if that will happen again.

absolutely get checked by your doctor. It is not normal to pass out and that sounds like what happened, not to mention the possiblity of a head injury when you went down. There are several kinds of things that can cause this to happen but to my knowledge and personal experience not fibro.

where you dizzy first? Are you diabetic? Did you feel paplpitations before hand? Please get in to see the doctor as soon as possible and as bubbly said if it happens again no matter how you feel call an ambulance and get checked immediately. Good Luck

Any time you hit your head hard enough that you are unconscious which is what this sounds like, you should go to the hospital. You may have had a concussion and may have needed close watching. You may have been dehydrated and passed out from that. It happened to a girl at my daughters eighth grade graduation. She had been at cheerleading practice all day in the sun and came to graduation and was walking in the hall and just fell flat and busted her chin open. She was dehydrated. Anyway, I hope you are feeling better now.

You probably should follow-up with a doctor's appointment as soon as you can. I bet your husband and son flipped out. That must have been really scarey for them.

Puddles I agree with every one here ,a doctor is definiteloy called for. I have blackout spells as well and we are still tryiong to figure out why.Your black out spell sounds alot like mine . Please keep us updated on what happens. Praying for you.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.
