MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

I think for the nurses that like to label people drug addicts, they are just on some sort of power trip.

I was in ICU once and only asked for pain meds at night because for some reason that was when the pain of starvation kicked. Let me tell you I could have stayed doped up the entire time I was there, bu only requested the pain meds at night. Well one nurse had the bright idea that I didn't need my pain meds although I was literally dieing and in severe pain.My mom gave her a what to and a what for, told that nurse she better call my doctor. The pain med didn't knock me out as the nurse thought it should so she assumed I was just trying to get high. I have a high tolerance to meds myself, and when I weighed 120 lbs it took enough anisthesea(sp?) to knock out a 300 lb man to put me under and I was only 17.

Of course that nurse was ticked off when she got done talking to my doctor because he basically said that I was dieing and shouldn't be denied anything I request! He was a great doctor.

Herro, I will pray for you to have no pain during your colonoscopy. Remember Doctors "think" they know it all, but God really knows it all!
