MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

I can home yesterday afternoon. I am tired and bruised. Had some trouble there. Couldn't get the IV in, so I have a large bruise from that, the second time they stuck me was with a smaller needle. Then once I went into the lab where they do the procedure the IV leaked and got my gown completely soaked. So they are not even sure that I got the drugs I was supposed to get. Doctor couldn't find my artery that he needed, it was deep. Then the manifold that they use to inject the contrast dye was leaking, had to replace it. LOL. Then the table would not work properly. So much trouble for a 30 minute procedure. I go back to see him in a month. He told me yesterday that everything looked good, all age appropriate. I do have some small artery disease, that all diabetics have, but should be no heart attacks in my near future. But we still need to figure out why my heart rate stays high all the time.

SUZIWEAVER,

I WENT THROUGH THAT SEVERAL YEARS AGO. AT FIRST MY DOCTOR THOUGHT IT WAS MY ARTERY BULB IN MY NECK. TURNS OUT IT WAS JUST AN IRREGULAR HEARTBEAT. ASK YOUR DOCTOR WHAT THE POSSIBILITY IS OF THAT? ISTILL HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WITH IT BUT NOT LIKE I USE TO. CHECK INTO IT.

suziweaver,

What an ordeal you had to go through. I'm glad your okay though & don't have any blockages. I hope your bruises heal quickly. I have deep veins & I know how painful those IV's can be, specially when it takes numerous sticks!
