Klonopin works great. For RLS and it helps you sleep. I don;t hear a thing at night, not even the cat jumping around on my bed and up and down out of the window behind me! I take 1-2 mg each night, but started off on.5 mg and it worked great too!

I love kolonpin actually I love GOOD SLEEP and it gives me that.

You know when I was flared everybodies like "Don't doctor hop- that's not going to help you" well it was more like a doctor CRAWL and- you already think I'm wacked in the head but what is more insane- chosing to stay with a doctor who is NOT helping you or being dillegent about finding one who will!!!!

SC$%^%&W the doctor hop!! in fact in my opinion doctor waltz, cha-cha, disco, what EVER dance you need to do to get some help- that is if you could tolerate the pain and fatigue of dancing!!!!

Meleggs,

We do what we have to do in order to get some help and recognition for the fibro. I just got lucky enough to have 3 wonderful doctors. My primary care I have been with over 10 years now. He is the one that sent me to the neurologist and rhumy. I love them all and they all three said fibro!

I am in Colorado, so cannot help with the doctor situation. Maybe you should start a post looking for GOOD doctors there?

I'm not on anything right now for the fibro. I have been to the ED twice in one months time and they said they probably can't help me anymore.I don't know why my doctor didn't write me out some pain meds until I can get into the pain clinic. They can write them out, but they refuse to.

I have tried all of these things.Sorry if some are mispelled.

Physical Therapy

Tramadol

Cymbalta

Lyrica

Celebrex

Ibuprofin 800mg

Tizanidine

Effexor

Flexeril

Meloxicam

I think I named them all.All of them caused me some kind of problem except for the Tramadol, but it did nothing for my pain.

I don't want to play the try this med game anymore.I'm to the point now where I say give me the heavy stuff because I don't want to live another day like this.

Cabury, Just a suggestion,

You may want to keep a diary of each medication you have tired and what reacation you had. This should include the strenghth and dosage, plus how long you took the med before the reaction occured. Don't just say it made me sick, write exactly what it did--vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, swelling, shortness of breath, weight gain ect

It will make it easier when you go to the pain clinic.

It will also save you time when they try to get you to try the medication again you can say "No, I cannot take that because on ----It caused me to have-----"

I know you have been in pain for a long time and I wish I could do something more for you. It isn't too long until you appointment is it. I ask this realizing that every minute is too long and I am sorry.
