 I'm still waiting for the test results. The Dr. is supposed to call me back sometime this afternoon. I did go to work today and it was good to take my mind off being so nervous. Trying to convince myself no news is good news. Thanks all of you for your support. It means so much to me.

 psk, sorry to heasr that you are in so much pain. I hate when the docs just go home without calling to give you the result.Don't they realize that the stress of waiting causes more pain? Hang in there hun, we are all here to help in any way we can. Maybe we could tell you jokes about docs,that might raise your spirits.

 Update, The insensitive B@#$% left for the weekend. No phone call. Luckily I have lots to do today, so hopefully I won't get myself into a panic. Thanks again.

 Can you page the doctor. Just call the hospital and tell them you are a patient of his and you were waiting for stat labs from yesterday to be called to you at home and you don't know what to do. Tell the operator the was a possibility of admission into the hospital and you are afraid. If he is not on call have her page the doctor that is covering for him and this doctor can look up the labs himself and call or call the doctor and ask him what is up. I hope this works for you.

 Just tried to call the office. No answering service, just a message saying "If this is an emergency, please hang up and dial 911". Then I called the affiliated hospital. The hospital operator said they do not page drs. and the "on call" would call if there was a problem. She would'nt even let me leave a message! All of you who have caring, consciencious Drs. are truely lucky.

 Hi to you all!

PSK, I figured it would be a long shot to ever get in touch with the doctor on a weekend.

If you can try to relax and just remember that no matter what your report says, nothing is usually done immediately anyways! Unless your bleeding to death, the odds of being admitted right away are slim. So what is another 2 days of waiting gonna do, nothing! Try to keep that in mind cause your gonna drive yourself nuts!

I know cause been there done that! All things will be settled soon! Hang in there, ok? Worrying does nothing but make you unhappy! We're all here for you.....
