 Im having such a bad day. I saw my rhummy today. I've been in so much pain since starting work again. Mostly it's a 5, but has been an 8 some days. I had bad effects from lyrica, she still dosen't believe that my fingers swelling up and extreme weight gain was reason enough to stop taking it. She prescribed Neurontin and celebrex and gave me trigger point injections in my hips. OUCH !

Now I'm sitting on bags of ice waiting for the results of a STAT blood test. My kidneys seem swollen and she thinks my lupus is flaring up. I have been taking meds for lupus, but have never had a bad flare up, so I'm so scared. I just need someone to talk to while I wait.

 Ohhhhhhhhhhhh....I'm sorry. DOH!!! I thought you were at the docs office still, with your laptop...sitting THERE waiting! Well shooooooooot! What might the 'stat' tests show? I'm sorry...I'm confused today!

I'm sure the Valium isn't working. THEY NEVER DO when you need them the most! But please know that they probably are working...just not ENOUGH!!!

I know that feeling well! Try to think positive! I know...no way can you even think about that...but it might help you to stay calmer?!

 The blood tests are for kidney and liver functions, I think. I wish she would hurry up and call but she's in appointments till 6. She made it sound like I had to pack my bags just in case.

 Hi Psk and Sweetsuze!

I'm soooo sorry for you psk! I know when you have other illnesses to deal with only makes our pain worse! The only thing that seems to help (besides pain, sleep and depression meds ) is do what Sweetsuze said, think positive and remember, tomorrow can be better!!! So hang in there, even if it's with your nails!!!

Just remember you have a good place to come for support and we will all do our best (whatever it is at that moment lol) and be there for you!
