I am still at the stage of crying because I just want it to end. I just keep waiting for this pivotal moment in which my life returns to normalcy. I can't accept that God put me on earth to be a bed warmer. I feel a need to live my life and my body just won't allow it. I feel like accepting it then I am saying that I am okay with this. I don't know, I think it is just human nature to seek an end to things, it is just to hard to look at forever.

Redundant,

I think the hardest part is accepting that it will not end. But warmer weather allows you to do more and feel better. You are still you and have alot to offer people with your kindness and gentleness. What you have inside you can never lose! Yeah, you may feel one day like you can't do anything, but other days you can do more. You have to learn to live with your limitations and do what you can when you can and not worry about the rest. It is very hard, Sweeties, but I pray that you find peace within to live with it. Lots of hugs.

As some of you may know I will be in the hospital all next week mainly because of my headaches and I have seizures with them. I am going in the hospital to have a video eeg done.

I had a hysterectomy back in 2004 and have had bad headaches since, but the true migraines have come since I had my spinal tap back in september of 2007 to test for MS and lupus. I had a blood patch right after the spinal too because I had a spinal headache from the spinal tap. The migraines have never truly went away.

Good luck Annie, just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Oh yeah, and just ignore all those wires attached to ya. . Sending positive thoughts out for you.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

Hello Redundant!

I understand where your coming from. I've had fibro for 22yrs. There can be a lot of denial and sometimes acceptance. I think the acceptance part is difficult because this is not normal. But when you do learn to accept, you go along with less stress. Just do what you can and when you can do something do it! Don't put pressure on yourself and don't allow others make you feel guilty....that's very hard when others don't understand. You know yourself best and you have to go with that no matter what!! So hang in there and know we're here for you anytime you need to talk or vent...which we all do !!

Another pain pal,

Spruce

P.S. Justannie, I hope the best for you and enjoy as much as you can without the stress from being home....just let your worries floooooowwww away

Annie, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

redundant33, after over 15yrs, I still cry about having this. I also wondered what was my purpose in life. I can tell you just a couple of my reasons. I am the mother of a prospective Dr. My son is taking pre-med next year. He has seen me so sick over the years he wants to get into the medical field. another example: everyone here was talking about National Fibro Day. I pushed and even started writing to places. Then I kept bringing it up in here. Now we are having this great post for more people to learn something about Fibro. so maybe I was guided to this site to help with this. another example: I started getting books on natural remedies. I have learned a lot for my personal health. the others started asking me questions about it. Now there are several people I know that I have given them ideas of how to help them self with simple things. No I am not a doc. I just look up stuff for people and tell them what the books say. Maybe I was shown this information to share for medication the way God created it for.

You just need to take a look at your life and you will find your purpose from God. It does not have to be one huge thing. It could be a combination of little thing.

I know it is easy to feel like you are not worth anything. but you really are. You reason my to be here on the website to help educate someone else.

Maybe we should have a thread about what we are grateful for. or the good things in our life. Then we can all see how wonderful life really is.

We all have our why me days, or week or month. We also have our times when we do something really good .
