MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Sherry maybe it would help if when you feel drawn to the comfort of food you weren't so hard on yourself. I allow myself some of what I call "comfort food" at least once a week. I think we all a need a little "comfort" now and then.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

I too love my food and I made a decision 2 years ago. Either I was going to be fat and happy, or pain free as it is my meds that make me gain alot of my weight. I know I will never be the 'skinny one' again, so I have learned to live with my body. It takes alot of work to finally be in a place in my mind where I don't worry about it anymore, so don't expect fast results. Know that I feel your confusion and frustration !!!
