kesslmamma,

I'm on the east coast & just saw your post, what a difficult time for you. It's so hard not to have family real close by. I hope you were able to get some rest.

I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Joanne

Kessslemama,

I sure hope you got some sleep. Yes it is very hard to be away from family especially in times like this. I am on Colorado since 91 and my family is ALL in Virginia. I came here with me ex and we got divorced in 93 and I had to stay here with no family cause the kids were so little then and I refused to be a part time Mom, so I stayed in Colorado. Well, the baby finally turned 18 and now that I can go home, I am tied up with SSDI and waiting for my hearing, so it would mess everything up if I moved. Therefore I am still stuck here and to make things worse, the baby moved in Feb, and went to Virginia to be with my Dad who is ill. It is so hard. Just remember your daughter loves you and keep in contact with her. My 3 sisters email me every day and my brother calls about once a month and tells me to call him if I need to talk and I call my Dad every single morning.Plus my baby boy calls me every night to say goodnight and usually sends me a few texts during the day. I miss him so much and it broke my heart, but on the other hand, my Dad really needed someone too. Hang in there Kesselmama. It will be ok. Tough, but ok. We re here for ya. Lots of gentle hugs to ya.

Kesselmama- it IS hard to not see your loved ones on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, but we all have our memories! My Mom died 4 yrs ago, we moved from all our friends in Mi to Ohio 2 yrs ago, my 'baby' son moved to Florida last yr, and our oldest son and 4 grandkids moved to Korea this past January, and last but not least, my hubby told me to 'get out' last night! Your memories and pictures are sometimes all we have left. Nobody can take those away from us. So please hang in there, I know thats easier said than done....ha Trust me on that one, but do the best you can and we ae always here for you. Gentle hugs coming your way, D

May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

I can imagine what you are going through and I am very sorry that she is moving so far away and taking your grandchild. I would also be so heartbroken. Try to keep in touch with her as much as you can. Sometimes the grass looks greener on the other side then when we get there it isn't and maybe this will not be a permanent move for them.

Take your meds and try to rest because if you don't you will be in a major flare and that will just make things worse. My prayers are with you.

Gentle hugs Jan
