Unfortunately, it is definely the season for it. Are you on any allergy medications? Sorry if that sounds stupid, but it was the only thing I could think of that could help you other than respiratory medications. Maybe, you could see a Respiratory Doctor. With the difficulty of fibro factored in it probably wouldn't hurt to have some respiratory meds like inhalers to decrease the work of breathing if you don't already have them. You could even get them from your regular doctor, if you ask. Do you have Asthma. My daughter has asthma and she has trouble every April and October. Just a thought ---trying to help. The only thing that helps is hot bathes. But you can't sit in a hot tub all day. Although it would be nice.
The 'head in a vice' feeling is something I can definitely identify with.
