I hear about people having pain free days or at least were the pain is so mild that they are able to be happy and do some of the things they want to do.

I'm worried because in the past year I have three pain free days and one of them was last month. They were not totally pain free, but it was so mild that it didn't bother me to much.

Is this normal? I'm always so worried about cancer and most days feel like I'm three steps away from the grave.

I just want to know if this is how it is always going to be with Fibro or am I just going through a rough time with it?

I don't want to think I will feel like this everyday for the rest of my life. I'm 27 and I still have some years to go before I get to leave this body so I really need to know this will get better.

by better I mean will there come a time where I don't hurt so bad every day.

I had a low pain week. I hope to have more like it. I think the warmer weather is helping.

The warm weather should help you some, cadbury. I hope so. Seems to me that last year it helped, but so far this year it isn't helping much on warm days. But I also am under a great deal of stress, so that may be why. I don't know that we ever get a day pain free. I have not had one for two years, but have had some mild ones where I feel like getting things done.

If I had a pain free day, I'd really think that something was wrong. I don't recall many pain free days but sometimes days that I feel better and feel like doing something.

Soft & gentle hugs to all.

The warm weather didn't help me last summer before I even knew that I had Fibro, and everday that its warm and I'm not to tired I go sit in the sun so my kids can play.

I'm hoping that the pain clinic can get me on some pain meds.

I'm going to be loosing my medicaid and so pain meds is the only thing I can afford. I originally wanted the pain meds, but also wanted to continue my physical therapy, and try some injections. I also have arthritis and I really thought the injections in my knees would help allot woth my leg pain.

If I had my way I would be on, a muscle relaxer, pain killer, antiflamitory,PT,sleeping medicine, and get the injections. I just feel that with all of that there would be more good days.

I hope this warm weather helps me this year, and I'm going to try my hardest to get out there in that sunshine everyday!

I agree with Maneiac. If I had a pain free day, I'd think there was something wrong.

I have 'some' days that aren't nearly as bad. Like today! It's breezy and close to 70 degrees, with no humidity. This is a perfect day for me with Fibro. Unfortunately, they don't last. There always seems to be something interferring with keeping me from having more painless days. Whether it's whether or stress.

I promise you! Even though you're only 27, you will learn to cope with life. We just learn to "adjust". You'll be okay. Hang in there!
