Fibromyalgia Support Group

After being on a very low dose of Savella myself, I experienced horrible hot flashes, sweating and was about to not want to live with it!

Then I put the pieces together. All the crap started after about a week after taking Savella, maybe less!

I am interested in putting together a study to track the benefits, and detriments of Savella.

Does any one else find this important/needed?

Moon, I think it would be a great idea. We certainly have a good number of people who have tried it. Hopefully you can get them all together. You may have to try pm'ing some of them, though, because a few of them don't post much anymore.

You could go through all the savella threads and compile a list and take it from there. I hope you get a good response. What would you do with the results?

It's a huge undertaking, and I'm appreciative to any input about the study. Don't know what I will do with results,,, that's based on the study itself. But I do know the results will be posted here.

My step-daughter is a drug rep for Forrest Lab who is the distributor of Savella. I asked her yesterday she's heard anything about how successful Savella has been, and she says it's working great. I wonder how much feedback the company/doctors get? If someone stops taking it because of the side effects, do the doctors report that to the company? Doubt it.
