Hey, my hands hurt alot too, but didn't realize alot of you out there have the same problem. When I went to my pain doctor yesterday, he suggested I go see a Rheumatologist as he suspects Rhuematoid arthritis!? Sure hope not. I remember how my Mom and some of my Aunts had RA and it can be a very painful condition. The problem with my hands is I cannot 'grip' things, I drop alot of items, the palm side of my hands are always bright red!! And I have constant pain around the base of my thumbs on both hands. One really WEIRD thing happened to me last night. I fell asleep in the chair and when I woke up, my right hand was useless. I couldn't raise it up or stretch my fingers out. Nomatter what my brain told my hand to do....it couldn't do it. I started to get really, really scared cause it acted like I had had a stroke!!! Scared the bejesus outta me. Now when I woke up from bed this morning, it is a little better, but not totally back to normal. Will see what other surprises come my way today.  |
