MDJunction to me

jackie1979"MDJ is like a family to me where I can talk to others who understand how I feel. I can as group leader help others and support them and be there
for each other for the good and bad times. MDJ has helped me come to terms with my disability and be able to live my life and be positive. I just hope that I can be there for others like my friends on MDJ have been here for me.

So classes start back monday at my university. It will be my first time back post- diagnosis, and also after my roommates moved out.

(My hubby and I let a good friend of ours move in with us when we first moved back to TN from CA May 08. Well her bf moved in a few months later. Drama of course ensued. She is only 21, btw. She is wound so tight and just fills the room with that tenseness all the time. After they broke up he moved out. And then I ended up asking her to move out after a very childish meltdown of hers. Long story.)

Anyway, it is also this first time in college on these meds. Cymbalta, Tramadol, and Adderral.

I am taking 17 hours of class as well as 6 hours a week of work study. I have so much to do starting today but I am having a flare-up pretty badly. I am nervous how I am going to deal. I am thinking I may feel better once I start moving around more. So far this summer I have been fairly sedentary. With the exception of a few very overexerting days. Two music camping festivals, less than a week apart. And then working a day here and a day there with my parents. And a couple of out of town funerals. Other than that I have stayed mostly in the house.

Sorry to write for so long and say mostly nothing. (My brain is calling for a 75% chance of fogginess today. Visibility is less than 10 feet.Tongue ) I just needed to talk, and hope to get some feedback, I feel lonely.

Hi,

Please don t feel lonely, hon ~~~ this always seems to be a quiet time of the day here in the forum . Even I am not usually here this time of day due to working but I am on vacation this week (following hubbys' surgery).

I wish you luck with the new school year !!! What are you studying ?

Please try and not let the stress of new schedules and deadlines get to you . Learn your limitations and listen to your body.

By the way, love your fogginess and visibility description ....made me giggle !!! Smile

Marilyn

Hi, Marilyn. Thanks for the quick respond. I am studying housing and design. I want to start my own eco-friendly design business. "Green by Design" A big plus to working for myself, is I can work on my own schedule, well more like my FMS' schedule. Yeah it is a quiet time. And my hubby's still asleep. He stays awake late. I always wake up at like 9 when I don't have anywhere to go.

Neat career to pursue ~~~ I wish you luck !!

Yes, being self-employed has many benefits . You are definitely looking toward your future and how Fibro will affect the rest of your life.

It is 12:54 PM (early afternoon) here in Ohio so our day is half over. I m pretty much an early bird so I can either get my work day over or housework taken care of early in the day as Fibro likes me to relax in the evenings ...LOL !!

Yeah if I don't get up and start my day as soon as I wake up, I tend to sit and play on the computer for a while. But it is still my summer vacation, so I can lay around and do nothing for a long time. I only have 4 more days of summer vacation left.
