I just had a moment a few moments ago...lol...I was getting some Ibuprofen a bit ago from a huge 500 pill bottle. I'm out of pain pills and I thought I saw this glimmer of white from within the mass of red pills...so, there I was dumping about 250 pills on the counter in search of what I thought I saw...which ended up being just a broken Ibuprofen and the inside is white! How silly of me! Yes, I forget when or if I can take more sometimes. I think it's because I sleep so much that I forget what time I started my "nap"!

Suzee...I am so sorry you had a bummer of a weekend. I hope the week is much better for you!

The salad in the cupboard was hillarious! Ive done things like that quite a bit! Fibrofog gets me so bad my husband writes me lists of things not to forget to do. I feel like a little kid and he is nagging me to do thigs, but then i remember that its because of the fogginess.

I forget which meds I took when all the time! I have to take them on a strict schedule or I totally forget everything. I even forget to take my ultram and flexoril when im flaring...crazy stuff LOL

I think the salad in the cuboard was 2 things: 1. G R O S S ! ! ! and 2. Funnier than all getout!!!!!! (I don't think I've used that term since high school, I'm showing my age! But I REMEMBERED IT!!!!!!

Ok, question.....I do have FM, no doubt, but my fibro fog isn't like y'alls. I mean, I have never put one thing in the pantry that belonged in the fridge, or keys in the freezer, etc. My problem is short term, sorta related. I mean, like last night I was in deep conversation with my husband about something that a lady at the feed store said to me and I was about to go into why guinea's were so great for her, and it just left my brain, completely left my brain! And I sat there next to him in the car, about to cry, and I was so embarrassed. (He doesn't understand fibro, and REALLY doesn't get fibrofog.) It did finally come to me, and I was like a little kid who just got candy, all excited that ---I REMEMBERED WHAT I WAS GOING TO SAY?------stupid!!!!!!!

Why is it Most husbands don't seem to understand. I tried giving mine stuff to read that the dr. gave me when I was first diagnosed. He never was interested enough to read it. Every time I have a bad flare up like I have these past 2 weeks he can only look at me and say " well my knee hurts" or "my back hurts too" I keep telling him this is not a competition of who hurts the most. I need him to understand that but I get no where. And I have never even tried to explain the memory thing I don't think it would sink in

Aspire,

Don't feel bad. I do that all the time. Also, lose my train of thought while teaching. Talk about embarrassing. I forget how to spell words and how to punctuate sentences. Not cool!!!
