Yes, I have IBS too. Comes and goes....

The RLS is a killer. Last night I didn't get to sleep until 5:00 a.m. And, of course was up at 8:00.

Shopping. Now that's an adventure in itself. I just hate it. My legs get so sore, my mind gets fogged from all the people and products and noise, and not a good time for me. My husband now does most of the major shopping. I only go along if there's a big purchase he wants me to see before we buy it.

Exercise is something I really miss. I love to hike and swim and jog and I was always very active. It's like I have a different life now. Will do the "adult" ones - anything to relieve this pain.

Can't you take anything for your RLS? I take clonazapam and it really helps, plus helps you to sleep better. I hate shopping too and usually my daughter in law goes for me or atleast goes with me. I hate the noise.

I hate shopping. My husband shops more than I do. I hate standing in lines and milling around window shopping. Yah for net. I use it whenever I can. I can't stand alot of noise either. Sometimes my husband has the TV too loud and he has to put it down. It makes me irritable.

I've noticed that alot of us hate the noise and all the outside stimulis coming at us I wonder what part of the fibro causes that? I noticed that when I am out I just kind of walk in a daze I'm always in a daze. I'm having a problem walking straight I usually walk sort of at an angle . Hope I never get stopped by the police not only could I not walk a straight line but i couldn't remember the alphabet either way (abc or zyx) That would be a trip I don't want to take. I'm sorry officer i really haven't been drinking i just am in a fibro fog today. Do you think they would buy it Jean

Will ask my dr. about it if I ever get to see him. Have another week and a half before I'm "allowed". I called yesterday to get an appt. I asked if I could see someone else and they asked what for. I said pain and they said "If you're in that much pain, go to emerg." I hung up. Now I have to call again and pretend I'm going in for something else. I hope they don't know who I was...

mihoshi, thats terrible that they treat you that way, we have enough stress in our lives much less them being ___heads, sorry but thats un-called for. These medical people get paid to take care of us no matter how many times we need to come in. Im not refering to all medical people...But some of the stories here make me so mad. I guess we just have to keep educating everyone.

That's so strange that so many are irritated by noise and extra stimuli. I've had panic attacks in stores and have had to leave. Also a few times in drs. offices when there has been too many people. I had to pay for missing that appointment....sometimes it's the receptionists that I guess like the big "power" of the moment. Why, I'm not sure, but some people need that to feel good, I guess.

Anyways, I finally washed my kitchen floor today. I'm a bit of a neat freak and couldn't stand it anymore. It's been a month since it was done, and usually I wash it every week. It took me 3 hours. Then I slept for 2, now need to get some relief. Ok. This message is lame. I a bit of a fog.

I've decided that people who think they have power are the ones that try to convience everyone they are in power the ones who have real power are the ones you usually don't realize have it. A little power goes to the head alot faster than alot of power for some reason. I would fight the missed appointment charge.

Today I took my sister-in-law bowling to lunch and then to the store by the time i got home i had a full migraine, sick to my stomach and laid down for an hour and slept woke up and still feel awful. Did make a fast dinner of chicken pizza and took one look at it finished and said no thank you! I also every three or four weeks get claustrophobia when i am at home and that's when I have to just deep clean and throw things away. What's that about? I am beginning to think that I am just becoming an eccentric in my 50's. I will take tomorrow off and maybe just finish the quilt I'm working on if my concentration is good. Maybe we need to stop being such clean freaks and trying to be so perfect. Jean
