MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

Hello and Welcome!!
Be wise and dignified like the swan: he maintains his composure, staying unruffled on the surface, while always paddling like crazy underneath.

Hi Christine,

Welcome to the group! I'm glad that you jumped right in and started making yourself at home...that's cool

I'm sorry that it took four years to get a diagnosis Did you doctor talk to you today about a treatment plan?

I'm glad that you're here and I look forward to getting to know you

NO HE DIDN'T TALK TO ME ABOUT ANYTHING..I COULD HARDLY UNDERSTAND HIM OVER THE PHONE AND ALL HE TOLD ME WAS THAT IF THE MEDS HE PUT ME ON DON'T WORK THEN HE'LL CHANGE THEM...I GO IN MONDAY TO SEE HIM SO HOPEFULLY HE'LL TALK TO ME THEN OTHERWISE I'LL NEED A NEW DOC. HE'S ONE OF THOSE ONES THAT LIKES TO RUSH HIS PATIENTS.

Hi and welcome to the group. This is a great place and if you have questions just ask. I have been diagnosed for a while and you will see some of the others have too. Sit down and write down all the questions you have for the doc. I know when I see mine I will forget something important and then I either have to call in or wait until next time. Keep a diary of how you feel every day until you see him again. that will let him know how you are feeling and how much pain you guys are trying to control. One big thing is: Take care of yourself because no one else is going to do it for you, they can't since they don't know how bad you feel.

I hope you enjoy the site.
